It's the last day to get your ballots in the mail so you better hurry! | Events

The folks over at Multnomah County advised voters that Jan. 22 should be considered the last day for voters in Multnomah County to safely mail ballots in time for the Jan. 26 Special Election.

Ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on Jan. 26 to be counted. Postmarks do not count. Registered voters who have not received a ballot or have other questions can call 503-988-3720 or stop by the Elections office (1040 SE Morrison St., Portland) to resolve issues prior to election day. 

Voters can take advantage of any official ballot drop site, located throughout the county, through 8 p.m., on Jan. 26. Voters may deposit ballots at the Multnomah County Elections Office, at 1040 SE Morrison St. An Official Drop Box is located on SE 11th and on SE Belmont St. and a walk-up drop slot is available on SE Morrison St.

Voters also have the option to take advantage of secure ballot drop-off locations throughout the county to minimize the need for travel and to reduce potential related traffic congestion.

Multnomah County has seven 24-hour ballot drop sites and ballot drop-off boxes in all 17 Multnomah County Libraries. Ballot drop boxes are official and secure places for voters to deposit ballots for receipt at the Multnomah County Elections Division. Boxes will be emptied as needed and promptly at 8 p.m. on election day.

• Multnomah Co. Elections: 1040 SE Morrison St.
• Pioneer Courthouse Square: 700 block of SW Broadway (next to Starbucks and across from Nordstrom)
