PORTLAND, Ore. - Police are investigating a crash involving a bicyclist.
The crash happened around 2:20 p.m. in the 6000 block of Southwest Multnomah Boulevard. Police were called there on a report of a hit-and-run but when they arrived, they learned the vehicle had actually collided with a cyclist, traveled through a fence and then hit a house.
The cyclist was transported to the hospital with potential life-threatening injuries. The person driving the vehicle was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Portland Police Bureau's Major Crash Team is on scene and they are conducting an investigation.
Traffic has been affected along Southwest Multnomah Boulevard from 45th Avenue to Garden Home Road.
